15 year Old Kendall Byrnes has been selected as a potential fast track athlete by the AIS – Combat centre and is not wasting anytime.
She has opted to train under Qlds leading female coach and also Talent Transfer selector Shara Romer at The Boxing Shop in Brisbane.
To make this a possibility,Byrnes (from Townsville),packed her bags and flew to Brisbane for 3 weeks intense training under Romer,before she starts her schooling again at the end of January.
“Kendall will be sent home with a boxing program and also a strength and conditioning program that she will follow untill we meet up again in a couple of months”, said Romer “she is an amazing talent and has the world at her feet”.
Speaking of her feet,there are big rumours coming out of Townsville and also The Boxing Shop,that she is quite a dancer!
