Why and how did you get involved in boxing?
I got into boxing after a few injuries while I was playing rugby league.I called my coach and said im going to write this season off and stay fit at the local boxing club and ill see you next year. Well that was the end of Rugby League and the start of my boxing journey.
How has boxing helped you?
Boxing has helped me learn more self control and helped me search for better ways to improve myself.
How would you like our clients to see you?
I’d like my clients to see me as hard working, a guy who tries his best to help people and makes training fun.
Hobbies outside of boxing?
Since opening the boxing shop my hobby became my job. I enjoy watching my kids play sport whether it be swimming, soccer, netball or dancing.
What’s your favourite quote?

Why and how did you get involved in boxing?
After an injury in Soccer I wanted to stay fit for myself but more importantly because of my diabetes.
How has boxing helped you?
Boxing has been great by giving me a platform to reach the top in coaching by becoming the first female coach to be involved in the 2016 Olympics and 2018 Commonwealth games. Also it helps be be able to facilitate my passion of helping other people achieve their dreams.
How would you like our clients to see you?
Passionate and someone who is approachable.
Hobbies outside of boxing?
I enjoy learning about natural therapies and how the body works. Im also a Reiki healing master.

How did you get involved in boxing?
I got in involved in boxing when I was 13, originally to get fit for footy in the pre-season. Since beginning I fell in love with the sport and competing and have never looked back since.
How has boxing helped you?
Boxing has helped me gain self belief, confidence, resilience and respect. Boxing has had a major impact on my life for the better and I’m so glad I followed this path for the last 14 years.
How would you like our clients to see you?
I would like them to see me as fun and inclusive in group training sessions.
Hobbies outside of boxing?
I enjoy golf mainly, along with watching AFL.

How did you get involved in boxing?
I got into boxing after finishing eight years in a Japanese martial art called Aikido after my gym closed in Brisbane and I completed all of my belts. I talked to my dad at the time on what else interested me and boxing was always something in mind. Initially it was a great way to keep active and healthy and learn self defence skills. However what I didn’t realise was that boxing was about to change my life completely.
How has boxing helped you?
Boxing has taught me valuable life skills such as discipline, perseverance and goal setting which has helped me in many areas of my life one of them being becoming a Boxing Trainer and Amateur Fighter. Both of these things I have worked to upgrade my skills and knowledge.
How would you like our clients to see you?
I would like my clients to see me as driven and committed to giving them the absolute best outcomes. I am also very kind and passionate and I love helping people inside and out the gym environment.
Hobbies outside of boxing?
Since becoming a coach my hobbies still consist of boxing training as I still partake in amateur training and fighting. So a lot of my time I like to spend growing and learning. However on the weekends I do enjoy some down time going for a swim or going camping for the evening which is a great way to refresh for the week.
