Former Brothers Rugby player and Toowoomba basketball player, Krystal Cull have been awarded talent Transfer scholarships for Boxing in 2014.
Now based in Brisbane at The Boxing Shop, where Olympians Damien Hooper, Brad Hore and Cameron Hammond call home, Cull and Kilmartin have shown already that their heart will not go missing when the pressure is on in the boxing ring.
Head Coach of Brisbane’s “The Boxing Shop” Gareth Williams said ‘both Krystal and Dan are already great athletes… now its time to turn them into great boxers”. Williams has worked alongside the worlds best Boxers in countries such as Cuba, Philippine’s, Khazakstan and all around Australia agrees with the Talent Transfer program for Boxing, He says “the more talent we get from other sports is going to help our nation grow stronger in boxing”.
Head Female coach Shara Romer has welcomed Cull with open arms to the growing squad of Competitive girls, ” we have one of the biggest female competition squads in Australia and with Krystal added, its gonna be exciting times for the whole team, they will train hard, spar hard and run hard together which will help them all develop into the best they can be”.
